Exp 19 - Help for Exp 19

Exp 19 doesn't list which sample calcs you need for exp 19 in the
manual.
You always need to show sample calcs. It does state w/o detail what
to do on page 139. They are on the rubric.

Here's what to do:

Part A:

Dilution calc. for SbCl3
Dilution calc. for H+ and Cl- , last step (after adding 2 mL of 6.0
M HCl) - lower
right box

Part B:

Lines 3-5 (Molarities of SbCl3, H+/Cl- and K, the equil. constant)

Part C:

Table 1: Molarity of Cl- (just show it for one row after adding
12.0 M HCl).
Table 2: Molarity of Cl- after adding water to the solution from
table 1.
Last part: This involves the ethanolic soln of Co<sup
class="moz-txt-sup">^</sup>^2+.
Show calculation of
Cl- in the blue soln (last line). This means you
have to covert the
drops added to volume (mL). The conversion is given
on page 136.

Answer the questions on the report sheets.

Don't forget the post-lab on Carmen.
