Here's some tips based on things we've seen so far.
1) In Part A you need to mix the solutions and rinse the
cuvette quickly and try to do this w/in less than 30 secs.
You could practice this. Take to two test tubes before
you clean them and fill each about 1/3 full. Use one
of the cuvettes. Mix the test tubes, pour back into
the first one, then rinse the cuvette a couple of times.
They don't have to be filled during this process.
2) Collect data for only 6 min, every 20 secs.
3) The temperatures in the cavities seem to be getting
a little warmer as the experiment proceeds. Open
the cavity cover between solutions and let the
cavity cool for a couple of minutes. Then read the
temp before putting the blank in.
4) Volumes of Dye and water should be a close as possible
to the new ones and as closely as possible add to 20 mL
in Part A. That means if you measure 5.1 mL Dye you
have to use 14.9 mL H2O.
Also, the volume of Dye for test tube 1A in Part A has to
be 5.0 or a little more, not under.
