Chapter 5 coverage

We're working on ch 5 this week (and starting ch 6).  I have some
comments on chapter 5 since there are minor differences between
the 14th ed. and the older editions. These comments are at the "Notes"
link on my web page as well.

1) For the *14th edition*, I cover section 1.4 and the "Units of Energy"
     subsection at the end of section 1.5 in the chapter 5 notes. You 
need to
     go back to ch 1 and read those parts of ch 1 now.

     Homework from ch 1 covering these sections is listed in the Ch 5
     homework assignments for the 14th ed.

2) For the *14th edition*, we are not covering section 5.8 (Bond Enthalpies)
     in chapter 5 until we get to ch 8.

3) *ALL editions*: We are not covering the "Foods & Fuels" section (last 
one).

I hope this helps to make things clearer for everyone.
