Exps 1 and 2: Report and post-lab due dates, finishing exps, review/quiz

I understand some of you have not finished exp 1 for various
reasons. Hopefully you don't also have exp 2 to finish.
Making up or finishing one exp is not too problematic. However,
having more than one to make up or finish becomes much more
difficult.

Your next lab period is a review and quiz.  It takes place in your
lab. *Normal lab clothing and goggles are required.*

We are going to have a review for about 1 hr and 20 min (come
prepared to ask questions) and then have a 30 min quiz.   That
should leave about 45-50 min for finishing exp 1. It will not
leave enough time to work on exp 2.  You can NOT work on exps
during the review part of the period.

Since we have the review/quiz we extended the deadline for the
reports by one week for *exp 2*.  This applies to those in the
Tue-Friday labs (not Monday since you haven't done this exp yet).
This will give us a little time to catch up in lecture and we will
have hopefully discussed the material before the report is due.
Also, this way the TAs won't have a quiz and report to grade in the
same week.  I would suggest you work on the report a little, if not
get it done anyway, so if you have questions you can get them
answered before it's due.  This plan is reflected in the due dates set
in Carmen for the reports for exp 2.

What exactly does this mean about due dates?

1)  Mon: *Exp 1 *report was due last Monday, *1/15*, the normal
                           due date, unless you didn't complete it.  Monday
                           labs will do exp 2 on 1/29 and the report 
will be due
                           the next week as usual.

2)   T, R, F *Exp 2 *report will be due the T, R, F before
your *lab period for exp 5.*

     For T, R, F labs, if you *finished exp 1 during your exp 2*
     lab period this week, the report for exp 1 is due before your
     review/quiz period this coming week (normal 1 week deadline).
     This is so you don't fall too far behind with the reports.

If you finish any exp after the review/quiz period, the report will be
due the following lab period.  If you choose to not work on an
unfinished exp after the quiz, and you run out of time during your
other lab periods and can't finish, we will not give you extra time
during other periods or labs just so you can finish.

Any post-lab materials are due when the reports for those exps
are due.  This means the post-lab for exp 2 is due when the report
for exp 2 is due.  The due dates for the post-lab for the M, W, F
lectures was incorrectly set.  I've corrected that.

I hope this all makes sense.
