Ch 13 - notes and chapter coverage - clarification

I just want to clarify a couple of things about ch 13 coverage.

We will cover section 13.4 first (leaving out the subsection
"Converting Concentration Units"), followed by 13.2, then
13.1 (partial coverage explained below).  We will be starting
section 13.3 and then 13.5-end next Tuesday.

Look at the "Notes" link for details about what we aren't covering
in the various sections.  In section 13.1 you essentially need to
cover the subsection about The Effect of Intermolecular Forces
on Soln. Formation, Figure 13.3 and the closer look box about
hydrates in this section.

In the first half of the notes, pages 1-29, I'm skipping pages 21-29.
Those pages correspond to the material in section 13.1 which
we are largely skipping.

I would suggest you read all of section 13.1 because it can help
with some other things in subsequent sections.  However, I won't
ask direct questions from the parts of 13.1 I've stated as not
being covered on the next midterm.
