Quiz 8 material Ch 17 (17.3-17.4)

Quiz 8 will cover:  Ch 17 (17.3-17.4)

The quiz will be accessible this coming Sunday, 3/27, at 7 PM.

If you have a conflict hopefully you've contacted me already.

This quiz covers material from before spring break.  The homework
for 17.3 was due before spring break.  This weekend only Mastering
for 17.4 is due.

I decided to leave all of 17.5 for Quiz 9 so I moved the Mastering
due date to next weekend.  I got through the first two subsections
in 17.5 in both lecture sections (common-ion and pH effects on
solubility).  I got through Kf (formation constant) problems in the
MWF section and started them in the TR section.

I would suggest reviewing 17.3 (including some EOC problems) since
it's been a week since most of you have probably looked at it.

Rather than repeat it all here, you can find details of what's covered on
the quiz on my web page by going to the "Quizzes<https://www.asc.ohio-state.edu/zellmer.1/chem1220/quiz/quiz_1220.htm>" link at my Chem 1220
class web page (not Carmen).  It also lists which sections from the textbook
are covered and the corresponding end-of-chapter (EOC) problems and on-line
homework which you should be able to do.  There's also further descriptions
of things there and links to other help files for this material which can be
found on my web pages.
