Ch 18 and MT2

I've received a couple of questions about MT2 and Ch 18.
Ch 18 is NOT on MT2.  Note in the syllabus it's at the end
of the semester, after MT2.

It will NOT be on the final either.

Ch 18 is about environmental chem.  When I have time to
cover it in class, students generally tell me they find it very
interesting.  I use it like a review for the final since it covers
many things we've discussed throughout the semester (like
acid-base chem, kinetics, equilibrium).  Plus, it's about the
world around you.

MT 2 will cover chapters 16, 17, 19 and part of 20.  Right
now the syllabus lists it as 20.1-20.2.  I did that because I
wasn't sure how far we would get.  I know now we will
likely get up through at least 20.6 this week.  Midterms
2 and 3 in a normal semester goes up through 20.6.  I'm
checking with the office whether I can only have it go
through 20.2.  Personally, 16-20.2 is already a lot of info
for one midterm.  I'll let you know for sure as soon as I
get a response from the office.
