Quiz 4 will cover:  Sections 17.2-17.5 (common-ion effect only from 17.5)

This quiz is on Sunday, 7/11, 7-10 PM.

This quiz covers the material from last Wed and Fri.

The Mastering homework for 17 covers 17.2-17.4 and part of 17.5.  I
moved the due date to next weekend for 17.5 because I could not split
this section into separate sets.  For 17.5 only the first part of this
section (common-ion effect) is on this quiz.  For Ch 17d (17.5) Tutorials
due on July 16, questions 1, 3 and 4 cover the common-ion effect.
For Ch 17d (17.5) Homework Review due on July 17, questions 1, 2, 5, 6, 8
cover the common-ion effect.  Although they're not due until next
weekend you should do these sections as a review for this quiz.

Rather than repeat it all here, you can find details of what's covered on

class web page (not Carmen).  It also lists which sections from the textbook
are covered and the corresponding end-of-chapter (EOC) problems and on-line
homework which you should be able to do.  There's also further descriptions
of things there and links to other help files for this material which can be
found on my web pages.
