No, don't get all excited that maybe I've cancelled lecture. Not going to happen
unless I'm dead. Even then you can watch the pre-recorded lectures that are up
so far.
This is about the fact we're behind a little. We will finish 14.2 and cover 14.3 and
certainly be in 14.4. This weekend's quiz will cover up through 14.3. So I'm asking
you to make sure you watch the pre-recorded video and pay close attention to
the material from the end of 14.2 and section 14.3. I'm going to cover what
average and instantaneous rates are pretty quickly (the end of 14.2). I know, you're
saying "how could you go any faster". Look at the section 14.3 in the book and
the pre-recorded lecture. It's about determining rate laws from concentraton
and rate data and initial rate problems. This isn't easy so looking at it before
lecture tomorrow will help and when you see it multiple times it helps you to
remember it better. We will also get into 14.4, if not finish it.
