Quiz 1 material (ch 13.1, 13.2 and 13.4)

Quiz 1 will cover the following:  Chapter 13 (13.1-13.2, 13.4)

The quiz covers most of the material we covered this week.  I decided to
leave off 13.3.  Several people were in my office today asking about the
material from 13.3.  There's a couple of things I wanted to go back over.
Since we did finish 13.3 you need to finish it before next Tuesday's
lecture.

Rather than repeat it all here, you can find details of what's covered on
