We reviewed a good portion of ch 11, not quite in the detail I
would do if it were not a review.
We completed sections 13.4 and 13.2. On Friday we'll start
with 13.1, then 13.3 and then 13.5 and 13.6. You should complete
the reading and analyzing sections 13.4 and 13.2 and the
associated homework from the end-of-chapter problems before
Friday. You should skim to the end of the chapter before Friday.
There is a tutorial module for chapter 11 "due" on Friday. It's
not worth any points. It's to help you review some of the important
ch 11 material. You don't need to do it if you feel confident with
the material. Since it's not worth any points and available until
the year 2020 you can go in anytime to work on it. I've set the
"due" date to let you know you really need to get it done now.
Normally I won't tell you which sections we covered each lecture
since I generally do them in the order of the book. For chapter 13
I changed the order of the first four sections so I wanted to make
sure you understood what was covered today.
