ch 17b & ch 19 Sapling Learning - due dates

I extended due date for ch 17b Sapling on-line homework since questions 
16-20
are covered on this upcoming quiz.  The new due date is next Thursday, Nov 2
at 6 PM.  This is after all the quizzes covering this material will be 
given.

Also, the homework for ch 19 is also set for next Thursday, Nov 2.

You should be finishing these problems before the quizzes, as part of your
review for the quiz after completing the book problems.

I've noticed there's a rather large number of people not completing 
these problems.
It looks like there's about 25-30% of the class not completing these 
problems before
the due date.  For ch 17a (which should have been done before midterm 2) and
ch 17b (Ksp and solubility) there appears to be about 30% of the class 
who didn't
attempt several of the questions.

Remember, the on-line homework is worth 7.5% of your total course grade.

A number of you have done well on the on-line homework but not as well on
the exams.  If this is the case you might consider stopping by and 
speaking to
me so we can determine how to improve things.
