One of the "Points to Consider" is:

"Determine the activation energy calculated for this reaction, with
proper units.
Does this number make sense? What ballpark range of Ea do you expect?"

I keep getting the following question concerning this,

"How do I know if my Ea is reasonable? What ballpark range of Ea
should I expect?
Is there something I can compare it to?"

*Here's the answer I've been giving:*

Look in the textbook in section 14.5 (temperature and rate). There are
values given
there (particularly in the Sample Exercises). Also, look at the
homework problems
at the end of the chapter. You can make reference to these.

Finally, I spoke about this in class and gave an idea of the sizes of Ea
values and how
catalysts affect Ea values (also discussed in the book).
