I sent the following about e-mailing me. This is a reminder. I'm
trying to wade through over 200 e-mails. I got down to about 200
by about 3 today and in 4 hours it's back up to at least 250. I really
need you to read the stuff below.
Please put which class you're taking in the subject line.
*If it relates to lab let me know which experiment, day/time of your**
**lab, your lab TA and your lecturer.*
I need to file the e-mails in the proper folders. Knowing this info speeds
up the process of responding and filing them which saves me time.

From: robert zellmer <zellmer.1 at osu.edu>
To: chem1210 at chemistry.ohio-state.edu,
chem1220 at chemistry.ohio-state.edu, chem1620 at chemistry.ohio-state.edu
If you want to send an e-mail to me do *NOT *send it to or reply to the
e-mail
lists (chem1210, chem1220, etc.) I use to send e-mail to the whole
class. I
will get it eventually but it's possible it could go through to the
entire class.
To send me an e-mail use the following addresses,
zellmer.1 at osu.edu
chem1210labsupervisor at chemistry.ohio-state.edu
chem1220labsupervisor at chemistry.ohio-state.edu (1220 and 1620)
Using the lab supervisor address is best since it will send e-mail to
both me and
the assistant lab supervisor, Nathan Williams. This way if he can
answer your
question he will and you may get a little faster response.
I'm the acting lab supervisor for 1210, 1220, 1620, 1920 and 1250.
Needless to say, I get a lot of e-mails. To make it easier for me (and
Nathan)
to quickly answer your questions please let me know *which class you are
in*.
When sending an e-mail make the *subject line *look something like:
Chem 1210 - "rest of subject"
Examples:
Subject: Chem 1220 - Help with Exp. 14
Subject: Chem 1210 - Sig. Fig. in Exp 1
Subject: Chem 1620 - Help with Sig. Fig. in Exp 14
*If it relates to lab let me know which experiment, day/time of your**
**lab, your lab TA and your lecturer.*
If it relates directly to lecture e-mail your lecturer.
Finally, every now and then I accidentally send something from my personal
non-OSU account. Don't reply to that account since I don't check it as
often
as I do my chemistry account. Always send e-mails to me to at one of the
e-mail addresses listed above.
Thanks,
Dr. Zellmer
