I don't collect or grade homework. I've listed the problems I feel you
should be
able to do on my class web page (not Carmen). You will see a "Homework"
link on my class web page. The solutions manual from the publisher is on
Carmen ("Content" tab). This has the worked out solutions for all the
end-of-chapter problems for the 10th, 11th and 12th editions of the
textbook.
Speaking of the editions. The paperback custom edition sold at the
bookstores
is the 12th edition.
The problems I give are what I consider to be the minimum of what you
need to
do if you hope to do well. If you want to do really well you may have
to do some
extra ones. I leave it up to you whether you do it or not. However, if
you don't do
these problems (on your own with minimal help from me, a TA, someone else
or the solutions manual on Carmen) you won't do well on the quizzes or
exams.
Everyone needs to learn to be responsible for their learning w/o always
being
prodded by someone else (including me by making you turn in homework).
When you need help you come to see me or the TAs. Come as often as you
need to.
