Do you want to get some guidance on how to study?
I know I have a link for this but sometimes it's better
to hear things and get some specifics. It's something I
often will do after the first exam. I've decided I will
try it at the start and see if it makes a difference. Even
if you did well in Chem 1210 or high school this course
is very different in terms of the depth of understanding
expected. If you didn't do well it certainly won't hurt
you to try something new. Lets face it, what you were
doing last semester didn't seem to work too well if
you received anything less than a B-. Even if you did
well students often tell me afterwards it helps them
in terms of time management and overall reduces the
time they have to spend. Some students will spend
20 hours per week and still not do really well because
they weren't working efficiently.

It's certainly up to you to come. I will be there.

I'm holding four talks. They will be the same so you don't have to come
to all
of them. They will be held at the following times and locations,

Thurs. Jan 9 5:30-6:15 1000 MP
Fri. Jan 10 5:30-6:15 1000 MP
Mon. Jan 13 5:30-6:15 1000 MP
Tue. Jan 14 5:30-6:15 1000 MP
