Exp 17 - manual and notebook reminder

This is a reminder about exp 17.

You will NOT be allowed to use your manual without a penalty.  You are 
supposed
to perform exp 17 entirely from your notebook.  If you choose to look at 
the manual
for help it will be a an 8 pt penalty.  This means you need to do a real 
good job of
writing out your procedure so you can understand it and follow it easily.
