Ch 23/24 - different editions

It dawned on me after class I had not put up the homework assignments
for chapter 23.  That is now done for the 12th edition.  Coming soon for
those of you with the 10th and 11th editions.

The following is for those of you with the 10th and 11th editions

Then it also dawned on me for the 10th and 11th editions the new chapter 23
was actually chapter 24.  Also, in the 10th and 11th editions the info about
transitions metals (in 23.1 in the 12th edition) is actually in section 23.7
in the 10th and 11th editions (chapter 23 in those editions was about
metals and metallurgy).  So for the 10th and 11th editions in order to
cover the material we've been covering in class this week you need to look
at 23.7 and all of chapter 24.
