Electromagnetic spectrum question

I've received the following question from a few students over the last week or so.

"Do we need to memorize the electromagnetic spectrum for questions on the upcoming exam."

You should have an idea of the different regions and the order.  It's probably easiest
to memorize the order from highest energy (gamma rays) through lowest energy (radio).

You should know the two ends of the visible region:  400 nm (purple) to 750 nm (red).
