The PhET website has simulations which can be helpful in understanding material
from ch 6. You will use one of these for a future lab (EMS).

The following can be found at this site:

Blackbody Spectrum<https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/blackbody-spectrum>
Wave on a String<https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/wave-on-a-string>
Photoelectric Effect<https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/legacy/photoelectric>
Models of the Hydrogen Atom<https://phet.colorado.edu/en/simulation/legacy/hydrogen-atom>

Some of these need Java and some use something called CheerpJ. I
don't have a problem running any of them on my Windows 10 PC. It's
fairly automatic at this point.

I have links for them at my "Notes" link on my personal class webpages.
You'll see other helpful links there as well. I will use one of them in
lecture this week for Ch 6.
