Exam conflicts and absences

I'm getting questions about exam conflicts for MT 2. I've been over this
previously, both in lecture and via e-mail. The information about this can
be found in the syllabus. It's on the page showing the exam schedule.
There's a link there that will take you to the Make-up exam policy in Carmen.
You can find it on the Carmen course homepage near the bottom in "Shortcuts".

Whether this is for a conflict with another course, exam, illness, etc. go there
and sign up for a make-up exam. Follow the directions and turn in the
appropriate documentation. Don't get too worried if you don't hear back right
away whether it's an acceptable excuse so you aren't docked 15%. First of all,
there's a fairly extensive list of acceptable excuses at the make-up exam policy
webpage. Secondly, they're busy in the office and can't always get back to
your right away.

If it is a conflict with an exam for another course you can also check with the
other course to see what options they provide. That way you can chose the
best option for you.
