MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Mar 25

Instrument: OSMOS

Worked for 8 hours (most of the night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
Problems were encountered, see the separate trouble report for details.

Seeing and Weather:
   Clouds all night.
   Beg: Seeing 1.0 arcsec, Patchy Clouds, Winds Calm
   Mid: Seeing 1.4 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Light & Variable
   End: Seeing 1.3 arcsec, Overcast, Winds Light & Variable

Observing Summary:

Took spectra of low surface-brightness galaxies. 

Cloudy most of the night, causing some guiding issues. Clouds worsened as night progressed.

Closed a little early due to overcast.

The dewar hose for the Ohio state dewar nearly burst and the hose of the other dewar appears to be leaking.
