MDM Observatory 1.3m Telescope Observing Report for 2025 Jan 22

Observer(s): John Thorstensen
Institution(s): Dartmouth

Instrument: Templeton direct

Worked for 5 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Non-Photometric most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.

Seeing and Weather:
Beg: Seeing 2 arcsec, Cirrus, Winds Moderate
Mid: Seeing 2+ arcsec, Cirrus, Winds High
   End: Cirrus, Winds High

Observing Summary:

A lot of cirrus around, which the boilerplate KPNO message
characterized as threatening clouds , which they were not.
I opened a tad late and got several hours of what I hope is
decent time-series data on one target, and then switched to
another one which did not go as well - the wind was pretty high,
and seeing and transparency were coming and going. I have
obligations tomorrow so decided to call it around 11:30 MST.
