MDM Observatory 2.4m Telescope Observing Report for 2022 Apr 18
Observer(s): Alejandro Nunez, Luna Wang
Institution(s): Columbia University
Instrument: OSMOS/B
Worked for 3 hours (first half of the night)
Conditions were Overcast most of the night.
No equipment or software problems were encountered.
Seeing and Weather:
Clouds all night.
Beg: Cirrus, Winds Light & Variable
Mid: Overcast, Winds Calm
End: Overcast, Winds Calm
Observing Summary:
The night started with light cirrus and later cleared out.
But by around 10 PM the cloud cover became too thick, so we
decided to keep the telescope at zenith at that point. We finally
closed at around 2:45 AM, since the cloud cover forecast was not
going to change.
After sending back to zenith from the TCS, the final HA ends up at
-00 00 53.
