[Astro-mdm-report] MDM 2.4m Observing Report for 2022 Apr 13

Looks like the trouble report did not go out via email.  Here’s the text, as found in the TR archive:

Problem(s) Encountered:
The RA drive made some squealing noises. These were louder and
shorter in duration than when the brakes aren't quite released.
Noticed that it only happened in an East-to-West direction and
when the telescope was slewing. Didn't lose any time over it but
thought it was worth mentioning.

I did lose time over a computer glitch. Prospero seemed to not
process an image I took. This was proceeded by every task on the
workstation failing to process. I couldn't close windows or 
perform any commands in a terminal window. Ended up power cycling
the workstation, hiltner, and the IC computer before getting back
to observing.


Lost files were recovered from Caliban using the command recover n disk x.

Reported noise is indeed the brake grabbing the RA secondary drive wheel in one specific spot.  I cleaned off the spot and so far the noise has not repeated.  Will continue to monitor.
