A 'fugue state' is a term from psychiatry describing a
somewhat zombie-like mental state in which the patient
wanders without seemingly being fully aware of what they're
doing. With the old control system, the dome seemed
to enter 'fugue states' pretty frequently, but does
so much less frequently with the new MDM one.
