[Asstgroup] Cell Phone Allowances

Hi Team,

Wanted to share what I discovered yesterday. Some of you probably are already aware and it may not pertain to others..  However, wanted to save you the legwork to research, if it does apply to who you support.


Just discovered that the OSU Wexner Med Center's upper management (for me it is Directors and Asst Directors) need to complete the attached form to submit for cell service allowance for 2016.  Apparently these forms were previously completed FY to FY (July to June, each year).  However, that changed in 2015, where it converted to a calendar year request. Anyone submitting a request form beginning July, 2015, were to also include an application for January-December, 2016.

We have multiple staff who verified on their payroll that they did not have the cell phone allowance on the most recent paystub. Beth Williams (OSUWMC HR Payroll) states anyone who completes the form ASAP will be able to have it processed and applied retroactive to 01/01/16. Her only request is that we coordinate as many forms as possible for the folks we support and then submit them in lump sums via email or providing a group of forms in hardcopy format to HR.

** Note.. In the future, the request form will need completed by 11/30 to be processed for the next calendar year. **
