[Aqua-ohio] bird predation and deterrents study for North Central Regional aquaculture

Dear Ohio (and other North Central Region states) Aquaculture Producers with Outdoor Production,

Purdue University researchers are interested in learning about your experiences with predator birds at your aquaculture facility. If you raise or hold fish outdoors at a facility in the North Central Region (NCR), we want to hear from you. This survey is part of the USDA-NIFA funded project entitled Evaluation of Laser and Acoustic Non-Lethal Bird Deterrent Technologies for Fish Farms in the North Central Region. The survey results will be used to guide the development of extension materials and programming that are focused on managing avian predators.

We would appreciate it if you would take a few minutes of your time to complete this short online survey. This project is for research purposes and participation is entirely voluntary. Your frank and honest responses will help us to develop extension materials and programming that are tailor for you and other regional producers. This survey closes on Monday, March 3, 2025.
