We have been actively working to return research and creative expression activities to campus while keeping the health and safety of our faculty, staff and students our top priority and responsibility. This memo lays out our current planning.

Working with our colleges and many committees and units across campus, we have developed a staged approach to returning to on-campus research activities. Using these sources and guidance from our colleges, the Research Recovery Plan for Staged Reopening<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/osu.us7.list-manage.com/track/click?u=675aa8a2839ce8a0c259346d7&id=169c88f6d6&e=028bc8c18a__;!!KGKeukY!g54MXLAsfFXRUm2FalsniQkyjlMQ4fFLnI3nF7txbivnLfuRLlpD5oQdmO9bTDkhY6q9$> was developed. This document provides the current framework for reopening any laboratories, studios, and research spaces in a staged approach. College leadership has been asked to complete and approve a staged planning template for each department within their college detailing how they will implement each stage.  Before returning to campus, all faculty, staff and students will be asked to complete a form acknowledging their responsibilities and watch a short, online training module. We will have more information on each of these requirements soon.
