Colleagues,
Join the OSU Extension Learning and Organizational Development (LOD) unit and our collaborators for a Program Evaluation Bootcamp May 18-22 at 1pm each day.
Program Evaluation Bootcamp
Evaluation matters in our work because it is about getting information to people for decision-making. It helps us to make sure that we are clear about our program purpose and the information that is needed. We will start the week with talking about why evaluation matters and then move into building skills in Qualtrics to gather information, and then explore some great success stories from you!
Session Objectives:
* Deepen understanding of why evaluation matters in your work
* Develop competencies in Qualtrics
* Explore success stories that energize our future efforts
You do not need to register for any of these sessions. Simply show up and engage. Sessions will be recorded if you cannot make these dates and times.
Log into this Zoom room for all sessions: https://osu.zoom.us/j/634938327

Evaluation Matters
There are a lot of reasons that evaluation matters and there are a lot of ways to engage in evaluation. We will talk about the types of program evaluation, what types of evaluation might be appropriate for your situation, and different ways to collect data. We will give some tips on collecting data and for writing good survey questions.

Sharing Impact through Storytelling and Data: Not Mutually Exclusive
Numbers matter. Funders and partners require quantified results. But if we give meaning to our metrics, we can convey actual impacts; and we can better show how our work positively affects lives.
