Ohio State University Extension 4-H Youth Development is seeking a full-time 4-H Data Systems and Program Evaluation Manager.
Based in the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center on the Ohio State University Columbus campus, our new team member will provide primary support for the 4-H enrollment and data management system (4HOnline) by managing data collection, compilation, analyses, records retention, reporting, and dissemination. They will develop, deliver, and evaluate end-user training and clientele support for 4HOnline. This position will also provide leadership and consulting to county-based 4-H professionals on program evaluation (4-H Common Measures) and applied research, including training and developing support resources and materials. Additional key job duties include: interpreting and summarizing program enrollment and other data for internal and external stakeholders; creating reports, infographics, and other materials related to 4-H data management and evaluation.
Qualifications include, but are not limited to:
* Master's degree in Human Development, Community Leadership, Agricultural Communication, Education, Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or other discipline that incorporates evaluation methodologies or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Two (2) years of experience in each of the following:
-- creating and developing training/educational materials;
-- working in a business, non-profit, or university setting facilitating clientele communications and support;
-- performing program evaluation, statistical data analysis, and/or applied research integrating and interpreting data; and
-- working with databases and creating related reports.
* Knowledge of current qualitative and quantitative techniques for collecting and reporting data.
* Understanding of importance of data utilization to demonstrate programmatic impact.
