[All-extension] Improve your research skills

Are you working on a project, proposal, or starting your thesis?  Take some time this summer to make your research process a little easier.  The Wooster Campus Research Library is offering two workshops that will give you tools, tips, and information designed to improve your research and writing process.

zotero workshop
Where:   Fisher 121 (the Classroom)
When:  Wednesday 6/12 4:00 PM- 5:00 PM

During this workshop Gwen and Laura will guide you through installing and making sure Zotero is working correctly on your laptop.  We will also demonstrate some Zotero features. This is meant to be a hands-on workshop, so please bring your laptop.

Zotero is a free easy to use citation manager that can help you collect, organize, and cite your research.

Beyond Google Scholar: Getting the most out of your library databases and other resources workshop.
Where:   Fisher 121 (the Classroom)
When:  Wednesday 6/19  4:00 PM- 5:00 PM

Find the best articles and resources to support you research, proposal, or literature review. Because 50 focused and fabulous articles are often better than 50,000 possible articles.  This is meant to be a hands-on workshop, so please bring your laptop.

And remember, the library also offers writing consultations if you are struggling with writing, citing, grammar, punctuation, organization or just need an extra set of eyes to review your work.
