Cafeteria and Classroom Possibilities - Enjoy a local foods school lunch while hearing about resources for classroom gardens

Sessions focusing on four categories: fruits and vegetables, whole grains, dairy, and meats

    Panels of growers, producer groups, and food service staff will provide:

  *   Descriptions of the varieties of products produced locally
  *   Samples of products suitable for schools
  *   Ways to connect with local producers

"Starting from Scratch" resources and COOK-OFF - Susan Patton, Ohio Department of Education, plus student teams demonstrating recipes they created using local foods and school meal guidelines
