[All-extension] 2014 Ohio State Fair Skillathons

Dear Colleagues,



Attached is a letter inviting 4-H volunteers and enthusiasts to facilitate The 2014 Ohio State Fair Skillathon events and a fillable PDF form.  If you are interested or if you know volunteers, family members, etc. that would be interested in volunteering their time to help facilitate a livestock skillathon during the state fair please forward this on to them.  This form can be completed electronically and attached to an email back to the State Office c/o (dubler.1 at osu.edu<mailto:dubler.1 at osu.edu>). Please save the completed form with your last name and the year (ex. smith.2014.pdf).  The form may also be printed completed using pen and faxed back to the State Office at 614- 292-5937.  Please have all forms turned in no later than Friday, June 13th.



The skillathon stations include: beef, sheep, swine, dairy, horse, goat, poultry, dog, and rabbit. Volunteers for the skillathons are responsible for facilitating one of the stations for a species skillathon. A station requires youth to perform a series of tasks to test their knowledge about a subject relating to the species.



Any and all help is greatly appreciated and benefits the youth of Ohio.
