Good day all,
     We have had a tremendous amount of water fall on many of our counties. Many fields are flooded and travel is dangerous in some areas. Do not forget that bins and silos may become structurally unstable due to high water. When checking your property please don't drive through deep water or on roads closed for flooding. Go to our flood website at http//agsafety.osu.edu/node/187 and use the links for information you may find very useful. Your local County EMA director is also a good resource for information. Your county director can be found at the Ohio Emergency Management Agency site: ema.ohio.gov/. Consider joining or starting a Community Emergency Response Team. You can find information about CERT when you get on the OEMA site. Please stay safe in all of your agricultural operations and stay abreast with changing weather conditions.
