Good afternoon,
We know there are a variety of user experiences with CarmenConnect that are not meeting expectations as you are using this tool to conduct meetings, complete work tasks or teach. Since this particular tool has several levels of support provided by different entities in the university, it is especially important for us to know very specific issues that you are encountering. In order to assist with the collection of data, we are opening a survey to collect data that will help us identify additional specific issues: http://surveys.cfaes.ohio-state.edu/cfaes/index.php/626552/lang-en
It is very helpful to have the following information included in your responses:
Exact URL and name of room(s)
Date & Times of meetings
Number of participants
Type of audio (VoIP or Universal Voice/phone):
Earlier this week we were able to utilize camtasia to capture a CarmenConnect session that was experiencing audio problems that were consistent with other reports we are receiving. We are in the process of using that information to work with the primary support unit in the university to potentially determine the source of the problem and potential solutions.
Again, please share your user experience(s) using the above link; it will remain open for the next 30 days and we will continually monitor the responses so that we may present the best data to begin resolving the issues you are experiencing.
