This is Lennon Aragon with Men’s Health Network. Just wanted to get in touch about an opportunity for students related to research on indigenous people’s health. This award includes a cash prize, as well as a paid trip to the APHA annual meeting where they will be presented a plaque for their work by the APHA Men’s Health Caucus.

This award is honoring the life of Dr. Ric Bothwell, who worked for the Indian Health Service as a commissioned officer for over 26 years, and helped coordinate the Native Male Health Coalition: The Warrior's Journey to Wellness.

In honor of Dr. Bothwell, two awards are given annually at the American Public Health Association meeting by the Men’s Health Caucus.
