Maria DiBattista, Charles Barnwell Straut Class of 1923 Professor of English at Princeton University, has written extensively on modern literature and film. Her books
<i>Imagining Virginia Woolf: An Experiment in Critical Biography</i>, and <i>Novel Characters: A Genealogy</i>. She is also the coeditor of
<i>The Cambridge Guide to Autobiography</i> and <i>Modernism and Autobiography</i>. Her latest work, co-authored with Deborah Nord, is
<i>At Home in the World: Women Writers, Public Lives</i>, a study of women’s political writings from Jane Austen to the present day.</div>
