The text of the essay in the Penguin collection “A Woman’s Essays” (p. 72) silently corrects it to what the editor seems to have thought Viriginia Woolf ought to have written but didn’t: “In or about December 1910…”<br>
<br>
The textual note at the head of the essay says it is reprinted from the Hogarth Press pamphlet. But the Hogarth Press pamphlet has “On” not “In”.<br>
