This is something I’ve already told a few of the people I met at at the Conference in the Mount last year, but I’ve decided to take the plunge and send it to the list as well: I’m the guest editor of a special issue of a prestigious Brazilian periodical called <i class="">Ilha do Desterro</i> and the theme we chose was Life Writing. It was, of course, supposed to be broad enough so that we’d get many different perspectives but I would LOVE to have lots of Woolfians and Woolf-adjacent materials. The deadline is fast approaching but I thought it was worth a shot in case anyone has something already on the go or just waiting for the right reason to put pen to paper. The journal is indexed by many places, including the MLA, as you’d expect. It’s peer reviewed but it’s not paywalled — a very important political point for us in the global south since our institutions can’t always afford to pay for service providers like Elsevier and others. </div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">The site has an English version but I’m more than happy to help if you encounter any problems.
