The notes in the letters say it is her dog, another biographer says it is Adrian. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>Yet the language of the letters suggests that Virginia is both “William” and “Wombat.” <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>BTW, I get “William” as a play on “Billy Goat.”<o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>Any ideas?
