<b>Virginia Woolf and Indigenous Literatures—Extended Deadline<o:p></o:p></b></p>

<p style="margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman", serif;">

This issue of <i>Virginia Woolf Miscellany</i> seeks essays that consider Woolf in dialogue with works by Native American, First Nations, Australian, and New Zealander authors, among others.

<b>Possible topics</b> include <span style="background-image: initial; background-">

food traditions, animal/human relations, urban/rural life, spiritualities, mental health and trauma, ecologies, and so forth.

</span>What kind of dialogic emerges when placing Woolf’s writings alongside those of indigenous writers? How might indigenous literatures enhance interpretations of Woolf’s modernist, feminist, and pacifist poetics? How might such comparisons affect or inform

 understandings of subjectivity in women’s lives and literature, and the interconnections between narrative innovation and socio-political activism?
