<p><span style="font-size:10.0pt; font-family:"Verdana","sans-serif"; color:black">Another death in the Woolf community, Alex Zwerdling, whose book
<i>Virginia Woolf and the Real World </i>did so much to counter the prevailing myths about her at the time. Alex had to fight his publisher to use the title; he also fought to support and legitimize the younger Woolf scholars at the time, myself included.
I wanted to share his obituary for those who knew him. </span></p>
