1980s, I had to 'go and see' my father in order to persuade him that it was
worthwhile. He thought I should have done business studies. If I had, I would
probably be richer in montary terms (although not necessarily), but not in any

tried to find out how to get to Rodmell from London<BR clear=none>SW20, and made
the trip, and – d’you know? – it wouldn’t have been any *use*<BR clear=none>to
me at all. Perhaps that’s why I got a crap degree.<BR clear=none><BR
