Greetings,

I'm sharing a Google Alert about an event would be of interest to Woolfians in the UK.

The information:
Join Dr Derek Ryan, Senior Lecturer in Modernist Literature at the University of Kent, in this masterclass celebrating Virginia Woolf’s 'Orlando'.

Delve into the world of Vita Sackville-West and Virginia Woolf as Dr Ryan explores their letters, with particular focus on those mentioning Sissinghurst Castle Garden.

The masterclass unfolds with a lecture exploring Vita and Orlando, leading to a workshop where participants craft a sequel inspired by Sissinghurst.

Wander through the garden, immersing yourself in the letters' nuances, and collaboratively create a literary piece.

With his expertise and insightful guidance, Dr Derek Ryan brings the Bloomsbury era to life, making this 3-hour masterclass a unique and enriching experience.

The event will be held at the Sissinghurst Castle Garden on April 5 from 13:00-16:15. The price for the ticket is £35.
