Hi everyone,

I just went to the Amazon page and was able to add the 2006 edition to the cart without a fuss:

https://urldefense.com/v3/__https://www.amazon.com/Three-Guineas-Annotated-Virginia-Woolf/dp/0156031639__;!!KGKeukY!wGnBrXO1XIVe1yKYW0klvQB4LgRPpjDFRBmWHW1c4txsxhIe0vqwZWi4PRTAUBgf9QPlsnSGLc5PT4QAV19cDeZuY-bT$

The copy is expensive--$24.24—but apparently is in stock.

If you want a nice searcbable PDF of the volume (without images but without the endnotes, alas), I can send you a link to a webpage.

Cheers,
Vara

Hi Jane, You might look at the editions which include TGs and AROOO. I have an old Penguin edition edited by Michèle Barrett that has great notes (it even includes some of the notebooks). It looks like this was reissued in 2019. There's also

Hi Jane,

You might look at the editions which include TGs and AROOO. I have an old Penguin edition edited by Michèle Barrett that has great notes (it even includes some of the notebooks). It looks like this was reissued in 2019. There's also an Oxford World's Classics edition of the two together with an intro by Morag Shiach from 2008. I know it is difficult sometimes getting UK editions in the US.

Best,

Helen

Dear all,

I’m wondering what edition of Three Guineas people are using to teach because I ordered the Harcourt paperback (2006) edited by Mark Hussey (with an introduction by Jane Marcus) and was told it was out of print. My campus bookstore substituted this Harper Collins edition and told me it was identical:

The link says this edition is “by Virginia Woolf, Mark Hussey, and Introduction by Jane Marcus,” but in fact it’s the 1966 Harcourt edition with no introduction, no notes, and no photographs (i.e. not good!).

I have since learned that the Harcourt annotated edition of Three Guineas is only available digitally, but because I have a no computer policy in my classroom that won’t help me.

The 2001 Shakespeare Head edition of Three Guineas, edited by Naomi Black, has fabulous notes but is not available in paperback and the cost is prohibitive.

I’m particularly curious about what the situation is in the UK, regarding Three Guineas.

For those of us in the US, my real question is: how do we get Harcourt to re-publish the annotated paperback?

Thanks for any help!

Jane
