Dear Woolfians and dachshund lovers,

A first (I think):

Howard Atlee, who promoted *Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? *(and
apparently launched Edward Albee's career) also became a great dachshund
lover. He named one of his dachshunds, given to him as a present, Champion
Celloyd Virginia Woolf. Granted, he was inspired by the play and not the
writer, but it's fun to think of a dachshund named after Woolf!

Best to all,

Jeanne
