Woolf sighting in Thomas Marlon’s story on Nostalgia + the first line of Sigrid Nunez’s new novel, _The Vulnerables_, about involving an interesting pairing during the pandemic, is a repetition of Woolf’s THE YEARS: “It was an uncertain spring.” Sigrid emphasized her debt to Virginia Woolf at a book signing event at Politics & Prose in Washington, DC, last week.
