Thanks, Amy: what a nice thing to be involved with! Audrey contacted me too, and said:

As a special offer, Audrey has provided a promo code to get the book free of charge. When you download the app, just put in this promo code: DALLOWAY-VWSGB

At first they said it was for VWSGB members, but also said: 'Do feel free to share the promo code on your social media channels too'. So it seems clear that they are targetting Woolfians in general.

Hi everyone,

I am very happy to announce that Audrey (an audiobook company) has released their audiobook ofMrs. Dalloway, with a literary guide by yours truly and beautiful original illustrations. Below is more information with embedded links, including information about their listen-along on June 14th. I’ve really enjoyed the enhanced audiobooks that I’ve listened to on the Audrey app, and maybe you will too…perhaps on your trip to the Woolf conference.😉 Besides Mrs. Dalloway, they have a bunch of novels and short stories, some of which are free.

(Many thanks to Gretchen Gerzina for announcing this opportunity on the listserv. If others are interested in writing literary guides for Audrey, get in touch with me atamy.smith at lamar.edu).

In celebration of Dalloway Day 2023, Audrey has just launched their guided, illustrated audiobook edition of Mrs Dalloway. The book is read by Juliet Stevenson, with an insightful chapter-by-chapter guide by Woolf scholar Amy Smith, and illustrations by Poppy Lam. Audrey is running a listen-along of the book starting on June 14th, which offers the opportunity to discuss the novel as you listen over the course of two weeks. The discussion will take place on Discord and you can dip in and out at any time and from any part of the world. Just sign up at this link, download the Audrey app (mobile only), and the team will send you all the information you need!

Enjoy!
