[Vwoolf] A Woolfian production sadly not too successful in Avignon, France...

 Thanks, Marie-Claire. Heard about the festival when we were in Avignon recently, and fleetingly felt regret for not being there while it was on. Then remembered that it would be in French with no English sub/surtitles. Brits are rarely fluent in another language, I'm afraid; almost every other country puts us to shame. It might have been fun trying to spot the Woolfianisms though.

Le Monde etc. seem to think that there's a character called Jacob in The Waves . . . or has the director substituted him for Percival?
